Registered Electrologist (RE) - Massachusetts requires 1100 hours of a course of study at an approved by state electrology school. Completion of the course and success of a board issued exam are required to be a licensed Electrologist . Licenses are renewed biennially. Ten hours of continuing education must be secured to be eligible for license renewal.
Registered Aesthetician (LE)- Board certified and licensed Aesthetician with 9 years of experience. Massachusetts requires at least 300 hours of Aesthetics courses and success of a board issued exam to be a licensed Aesthetician.
Registered Electrology Instructor (RI) - An Electrology instructor must first be a Registered Electrologist with five years of experience to be a candidate for the Electrology Instructor's examination. A board issued exam is required for a licensed electrology instructor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Licenses are renewed biennially. The knowledge and experience of a Electrology Instructor available or on call is a benefit for all clients.
Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) - An Electrologist who is internationally board certified after successful exam. A requirement of 75 hours of continuing education within a five-year certification period to maintain the credential.
Professional Service - MJD Electrolysis and Skin Care in addition to being a Registered Electrologist and Aestheticians several carry multiple licensure in Esthetics and Electrology Instruction plus certifications in Health, Nutrition, Electrology and IPL.
